With approximately 65 new homes under construction, 40 homes being designed, a new owners beach club underway and a fitness campus set to be completed by 2019 — It's safe to say that Alys Beach is getting some serious community updates. With 135 homes already completed, and many more being built across 158 acres of land, there will soon be 550 homes in total in this new urbanism community.

Irma track Monday morning

We are glad to report that the worst of Hurricane Irma has passed by Sant Rosa Beach, Rosemary Beach and areas well to the east of us.

There was no storm surge and winds were strong enough to bring down some limbs but there does not appear to be damage to structures.  Rains thus far have been infrequent and relatively light, and we are monitoring radar for possibility of heavier bands throughout the day. 

Most Schools and businesses will reopen Tuesday.

Our prayers and thoughts are with those who have or may soon be impacted by this storm.  We have been amazed to see this storm dissipate like it has.  We are very thankful!

With Saturday being the typical check in day, that means one thing, traffic. Contact your vacation rental company to see if you can have an early or late check in to avoid sitting in traffic when you could be spending time on the beach!
