I have always been fascinated by the power and leverage of marketing. The key is to identify, understand, respect, and solve your customer needs.
After graduating with a Marketing Degree from Louisiana Tech, I was presented with an opportunity to work as a sales representative for a pharmaceutical company in Louisiana. Rather than accept the job immediately, I decided that if I was ever to take a chance and pursue my dream career real estate brokerage. I was 23 at that time (1996). I then decided to travel to Destin and decided to interview with a few real estate brokers. At that point, I felt sure I wanted to pursue a career in real estate in my favorite location. I moved to Destin the week I graduated college in August of 1996.
Fast forward . . .
In 1999, I was involved in one of our area's most incredible coastal neighborhoods, The Retreat during its three original St. Joe releases and have since handled over 80 transactions there assisting people buying, selling and developing their custom Gulf front beach homes.
Real estate brokerage isn’t about selling; it is much more than just selling a house – it’s about knowing your customer. It’s about seeing a first-time homebuyer’s excitement and helping family’s purchase their dream home. It’s about customer service. It’s about loving my job and guiding through the process and being there for you every step of the way. When you put your customers first and never compromising excellence, everything else always works out. This philosophy hasn't failed me yet, as evidenced by the fact that our company has held the top position in total sales volume among real estate offices on the Emerald Coast for the past three years. I’m consistently ranked in the top 1% of agents along the panhandle and have personally helped hundreds of families with over $500,000,000 in career sales volume. Over the years, I have gained the experience of negotiating simple, straight forward transactions to the most challenging and complicated transactions.
I have been blessed to have been part of building a company with the best people, establishing a real estate office in Blue Mountain Beach (2004) and ten years later humbled to be operating the highest producing office from Destin to Panama City Beach. That lead to partnering with Chris Abbott in 2013 and was recruited to affiliate with Sotheby’s International Realty to lead their luxury effort in Northwest Florida. We launched the effort in January, 2014 and have watched the brand align with the organization seamlessly.
